MY ROLES IN B.R.B.W.A

I began designing the Blind NGO website after doing deep research to truly understand the challenges their users and donors face. My role went far beyond completing tasks in interaction design, visual design, and copywriting — I focused on giving the entire website a clear direction that guides visitors with purpose. For an NGO, a site isn’t just about being visually clean and effective; it carries the responsibility of touching the hearts of donors who visit with the intention of helping someone in need. I worked on building trust, simplifying navigation, creating emotionally meaningful content, improving accessibility, and shaping a storytelling flow that connects real impact with every click.

This project became a blend of empathy, strategy, and design clarity, making the website both functional and deeply human.

PROBLEM STATEMENT

When I began working with the NGO, there was no existing website — meaning no online presence, no easy way for donors, volunteers or guardians to find information. This made outreach, donations, and trust-building difficult. The NGO lacked a platform to tell its story, share real impact, and connect with supporters. Without a digital presence, reaching and helping people was severely limited.

A website was needed that would not only provide information, but also build credibility, emotional connection, easy contributions, and a welcoming experience for all stakeholders.
